CORRUPTION COUNTER CORRUPTION ALLEGATIONS: By Lagos Based Public Analyst, Korede Sanya

The former Chairman of Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), Ibrahim Magu, is currently facing a presidential probe panel for corrupt practices under a supposed anti corruption government. Am sure that is no news.
The news are the others like Attorney General of the Federation, Abubakar Malami and Minister of Niger Delta, Godswill Akpabio. Malami was accused of having choice properties and the man claimed to have been traumatized by those allegations.
Akpabio in his case was said to have directed a female NDDC director to raise 3-5 billion for desilting and clearing of waterways in a process that failed the due process. Madam even accused the man of grabbing her bum in a sexual harassment manner that earned the honourable minister a dirty slap.

Vice President Yemi Osinbajo has not been spared though, but Baba Kekere has done the needful by suing for defamation.
My question is, who will clear the augean stable? Should head rolls? Magu seems to be fighting back that no be only me be thief. However we need someone out there to start carrying out detailed investigation and possibly prosecution of those alleged. It is only then the anti corruption stance of this government will be taken seriously.
