It has become a cause of worry for the students and staff of Yabatech as another lecturer, Mr. Oladosu Abimbola Olakunle, a lecturer of the computer department died two days ago.

This incident followed the death of a mass communication lecturer, Miss Ijeoma Queen Anyira who was involved in a gas explosion on Saturday, June 2nd and died on Wednesday, June 5th after a successful operation.

It was also reported that a part-time student of the mass communication department lost her life before the commencement of the part-time examination.

The computer department was said to have also lost a student on Saturday, June 23rd. “It’s like the thing is going round departments, heard new building lost lecturers too” a mass communication student said.

Some worried students have proposed that prayers should be organized in departments to forestall these sad occurrences.
