The two times Chairman of Ojokoro Local Community Development Area and former Special Adviser to the Lagos State Government on Civic Engagement during the last administration, Hon. Benjamin Adeyemi Olabinjo (BAO), has expressed gratitude for the show of love bestowed on him during his 61st birthday.
BAO as he is fondly called celebrated his birthday on Friday, October 4, at Bola Events Centre, New Oko-Oba, Lagos. The event however featured different political personalities as well as packages for his esteemed followers.
In a statement issued by media team, the noble politician averred that he was stunned with the turnout despite the heavy downpour.
“On behalf of my wife and my entire family, I wish to appreciate God Almighty, our creator and benefactor, for making it possible to mark another year in good health and sound mind.
“To all who actively worked tirelessly to see that the celebration of my 61st birthday was a success and people who trooped out to grace my birthday on the 4th October 2019. I say a very big thank you.
“The large turnout despite the heavy downpour was a testimony of true love.
“I appreciate the Traditional Rulers, Political office holders, Party leaders and faithfuls, Relatives, friends of the family and the teeming supporters. I was deeply moved when I looked up during the event and saw a fully packed hall; I knew it could only have been love and the grace of God. I am indeed honoured. I pray that God shall continue to bless you all. THANK YOU ALL.”
