Wives of fallen OPC members get ATA’s Relief Fund

The members of the relief Committee ably led by the duo of Pst. Opajobi and Engr. Dada today 7th, November 2020 gave out cash donations to the wives of the three (3) OPC members who lost their lives during the inter-ethnic crisis in Fagba some weeks back.

The Committee Co-Chair, Pst. Opajobi reiterated the assignment of the committee and informed all of their activities in identifying, enumerating and disbursement of funds to those affected by the crisis. 

He eulogised the kind gesture of Hon. Adewale Temitope Adedeji (ATA) for taking such initiative; adding that, the extension of the relief fund to the victims that fall within the Ojokoro axis which he said, the committee has taken care of by disbursing funds to them.

His Co-Chair, Engr. Jacob Dada also corroborated the fact that the committee has operated with openness and total transparency in disbursing the fund.  He added that, the reason for calling the widows out is just to ensure that the fund gets to them directly.

The wives of the late *Mr. Olafimihan Gbenga ( Confam), Mr. Rasak Babatunde and Mr. Ganiyu were given Two Hundred and Fifty Thousand (250,000) Naira each.* 

Two other persons were also given cash to alleviate their losses in the crisis. One of them is *Mrs. Bunmi Adeniran, the proprietress of Ruler Crown school Fagba,who was given One Hundred  Thousand (100,000) Naira and Mr. Moses Ayo Babalola ( Ayo Photos) who also lost his properties to the crisis was given One Hundred and Fifty Thousand (150,000) Naira.* 

The committee promised to come out with both video and photo evidence of their activities when they are finally done with the task given to them. Also noting that the disbursed fund is part of the Ten Million (10M) Naira earmarked for the project.
