Timi Dakolo, popular Nigerian musician, has announced the mobilisation of a seven-day protest to demand justice for his wife, Busola Dakolo and others who have come forward to accuse Pastor Biodun Fatoyinbo of the Commonwealth of Zion in Abuja (COZA) of rape.

According to a flyer, the protest will take place at COZA (Lagos and Abuja), Ministry of Justice and the Police Headquarters.

Dakolo on Friday detailed how Fatoyinbo allegedly raped her as a teen in Ilorin.

But Fatoyinbo has refuted the claims, stating that he has never raped anyone before.

In a post on Instagram on Saturday, @timidakolo, the musician posted a flyer containing information of the planned protest with the caption, #notinmychurch.

Meanwhile, in other developments, women have urged Fatoyinbo to leave the pulpit while he proves his innocence. In a post on facebook, the Vice-Chairman, Association of Online Media Practitioners of Nigeria, Adeola Agoro who noted that sex is a well known thing but people often sweep it under the carpet, posted on her timeline: “Biodun Fatoyinbo, leave the pulpit while you prove your innocence or otherwise,” she dared.

Another facebook user, Naija Gal Ngozi posted that Fatoyinbo should respect God and himself and not near altar at all. “I believe the church can survive without him. You’re not the church, just respect God and respect yourself by staying away from the altar.”  She however ask the members of the church to rise to the church defence if truly the “Ark is there.”
