Afolabi Olumide Ajiboye (AFOO) condoled with Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Gov Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu, his deputy, Dr Kadri Obafemi Hamzat, and the leadership of the All Progressives Congress, APC, on the demise of Sen. Adebayo Sikiru Osinowo (Pepperito).
The Idẹra Crusader expressed shock at the sudden and alarming death of Pepperito.
In a statement issued from Texas, USA, made available to People & Politics, AFOO said the death of the Senator representing Lagos East Senatorial District left him and other members of the party in Texas in a dilemma.
“Myself and family, with all members of the Idẹra Movement (Nigeria and USA) condole with our National Leader, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu and the leadership of the All Progressives Congress, both at the national and state levels, as well as the Lagos East Senatorial District, on the demise of Sen. Adebayo Sikiru Osinowo.
“It saddens us that Pepperito was taken by the cold hands of death, at a point he was doing the party proud as a congressman, rendering selfless service to the party, APC and Nigeria as a whole.
“Pepperito was an exemplary lawmaker and politician, loveable, loyal and dedicated to the core. He was a grassrooter and mobiliser.
“We will take solace in his good repute, good works and legacies. We pray that God puts an end to such untimely death within our party. May God in His infinite mercy rest his soul and grant our leaders, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Gov Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu, Dr. Kadri Obafemi Hamzat, all party faithful and the Osinowo family the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.”
