A leading youth support group, Jide Sanwo-Olu Youth Movement (JISYM) has commended the well deserved endorsement of Governor Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu for second term of another four years in office
In a press statement signed by the General Coordinator, Mr. Owolabi Falana and its Secretary, Sam-Dayo Ayeni, made available to People & Politics, the group extolled the governor’s virtues and opined that his endorsement is a reflection and validation of his exemplary performance and historic accomplishments since being sworn in as governor 3 years ago.
JISYM going forward appreciate the efforts of the governor in completing all the existing projects inherited from his predecessors while initiating new programmes, policies and projects that have impacted positively on the lives of the citizenry, the completion of the Agege – Pen Cinema flyover which was met at 15% work stage, the Opebi/Odo Iya Alaro/Ojota link bridge, Bus Terminals, among several others
JISYM hailed Governor Sanwo-Olu led administration for touching virtually every sector of the Lagos economy across the 20 LGAs and 37 LCDAs of the state ranging from infrastructural development, provision of a standard public transportation system in the masses friendly BRT buses, upgrading and construction of jetties, procurement of ferries and making the Lagos Water Transportation system a model and not forgetting the continued construction of the Mass Transit Lagos blue and red line railway systems to rid the Lagos metropolis of the age long menace of traffic jams.

The General Coordinator – Mr. Owolabi Falana specially appreciates the massive construction of classrooms and other facilities in public schools across the 6 education districts of the state.
Healthcare system improvement is one area in which the Governor Sanwo-Olu led administration has done very well as his administration has constructed three world class primary health centers, the commissioning of the 150-bed Massey Children Hospital Lagos Island and the general renovation and upgrade of general hospitals across the state to make healthcare delivery accessible to all Lagosians
JISYM also commend the governor for the role he played during the COVID-19 pandemic through his exemplary leadership as incident commander and his efforts in containing the spread of the virus which earned him accolades both local and internationally as outstanding leader
The members and executives of JISYM across the state hereby urge all members of the Lagos APC family to walk the path of progress and continuity as done by the GAC to ensure the victory of the governor at the forthcoming gubernatorial primaries and his return to office for a new four year term at the polls next year.
