The City of the Lord Church on Sunday marked a significant milestone – its 40th convention – and Hon. Benjamin Adeyemi Olabinjo (BAO), Member House of Representatives, Ifako-Ijaiye Federal Constituency, was in attendance. The event, aimed to honour the selfless service of Rev. JSA Oladele, who has dedicated 40 years to his ministry.

The theme of the convention, “The Good Land: Deuteronomy 8:7,” set the tone for a day of celebration and reflection. Rev. Oladele, an 85-year-old General Overseer, expressed his gratitude to Hon. Olabinjo, describing him as a good lawmaker who traveled from Abuja to join in the celebration.

The event was well-attended by dignitaries from various sectors, including the clergy, community leaders, traditional leaders, Christian and Muslim associations, market women and men, and many others. The City of the Lord Church Headquarters, located at Kudirat Soule Street, Off Coker Street, College Road, was filled with joy and gratitude as the congregation celebrated this significant milestone.
