The Governor of Ogun State, Dapo Abiodun on Saturday, at the Mountain of Fire and Miracles Ministry Power Must Change Hands programme tongue lashed his predecessor, Senator Ibikunle Amosun, while giving a testimony at the Prayer City.

The businessman cum politician in his breakthrough testimonies referred to Amosun as ‘man’, saying “man will never be God”.

Abiodun was given a special testimony period during the programme. The anchor man announced that there’s a brother here who will like to give a testimony. People were already wondering who that could be when it wasn’t the time to take testimony.

The governor however approached the podium and introduced himself. “My name is Dapo Abiodun, I’m the governor of Ogun State. Most importantly, I’m a member of the Mountain of Fire and Miracles Ministry. God will remain God and man will never be God”, he said as the congregation made a joyful noise.

The governor who was dressed in Sky Blue native didn’t mention the name of Ibikunle Amosun, but narrating his ordeal, everyone were already murmuring the name of his target, as he was his major opposition in the state during electioneering.

“I’m sure most of you know the details of my story. Man threatened, man swore, man did everything to stop God from fulfilling his plan in my life but God in his infinite mercy prevailed. That same God is the governor of Ogun State. That same God who is a mountain moving God.

“That same God that has done it for me will move every single mountain in your live in the name of Jesus.

“In 1996, I ran an election to be a Senator in Ogun East Senatorial District; I won that election but before I was sworn-in, the Head of State then passed on, so it was not meant to be. In 2006, I attempted to be governor of Ogun State; I came second in that election to Otunba Gbenga Daniel, I still didn’t give up. In 2015, I ran to be Senator in Ogun State, the same Ogun East, it was not meant to be.

“In 2018, I didn’t even want to run but all the lines kept falling in pleasant places. Because all these while, God was indeed preparing me for this journey. When people ask me, how much bitterness do I have in me for the level of intolerance to say the least, which I went through over the cause of this election; my answer to them has always been the same. And I say to them, with all sense of humility, if there was not a Judas, we will not have a Messiah today. So at times, God places people in our path because He wants us to achieve our destiny. God test us, because He’s indeed preparing us for a higher calling. May all your test and tribulations, become a testimony in Jesus Mighty Name.

“I hereby take this opportunity and rare privilege to solicit for your prayers; I’ll need a lot of it because the battle isn’t over, because the enemies are still lurking, they’re still wishing. But the same God that did it will continue to do it in Jesus Name.

“My solemn pledge, God brought me here for a purpose, and because of that, I have a pact between God, myself and the Ogun people. It is a tripartite pact, and that pact is to be fair, just, and equitable, obey the rule of law, transparent, accountable, inclusive, and participatory, so help me God”, he prayed.

Going back to his seat, he was received by Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu who was also seen with his wife at the monthly programme.

In his words, the General Overseer of MFM, Dr. Daniel Olukoya prayed that the duo will achieve success as governors.
