Christ Apostolic Church Students’ Association (CACSA), Lagos Chapter on Sunday, November 22, held a combined service at CAC Transformation Centre, to round off their 21 days fasting and prayer (21 days in the upper room), an annual programme.
The combined service which had more than 21 assemblies in attendance witnessed the presence of Pastor Samuel Olú Ogundare, a respected leader, Prophet and Pastor in the family of faith, who arrived while the service was going on.
Pastor Ogundare who is fondly referred to as Baba because of his age, wealth of ministerial experience and anointing blessed the church and gave words of admonition.
Meanwhile, Chairman DCC 13/State Minister CACSA, Pastor Dele Olatunde, was applauded as a truthful shepherd and reliable leader who is upholding the tenets of faith in CAC by Baba Ogundare.
Baba who is an arrow head in the peace process of unifying all factions of CAC, to come together as one noted that there are many factions in the fold, a development he said is fostering crisis. He identified CACSA, CACYUF, WOSEM, ÈGBÉ IMOLE AYÉ, amongst others as some of the factions.
“Too many factions is a cog in the wheel of progress, and I won’t hesitate to say the truth as a leader, not at this point of my life will I be bought over or enticed by anything or anybody. A situation whereby we have too many presidents of different bodies is fostering crisis, we aren’t supposed to have more than one president”, he said.
However, Baba applauded Pastor Olatunde for standing tall among others. He applauded his uprightness and his truthful principles. He said only if all other leaders could be like him, the family of faith would have been better for it, but there are too many ulterior motives, he noted.
In a swift response, Pastor Isaac Adebayo Fayode said in strict adherence to the directive of the leadership of CAC, CACSA has dropped the title of the president and has changed it to National Leader.
The church in turn thus prayed for Baba, asking God to grant him success on the unification course in his life and time.
The combined service message which was pegged on Divine Lifting was delivered by Pastor Fayode.
