An aged woman has been brutally battered by a distance cousin who accused her of organizing prayer session within their premises.
The incident happened on Thursday, January 9, 2020 at 11, Yomi-Are Street, New Oko-Oba, Abule-Egba, Lagos.
The aged woman simply identified as Victory has thus been condemned to Marie-Claire Hospital at U-Turn, Abule Egba, losing a leg in the process, while her head was also broken.
The residents and neighbours on Yomi Are told People & Politics that this is the third time such incident will be happening. “There was a time this same woman was stabbed by Idemudia, on other occasions; she was seriously beaten by this same guy.
“As a matter of fact, we expected their family to have separated them. The intent of the guy was to kill the woman, if not that the woman ran to the street, the story wouldn’t have been the same.
“Nevertheless, the woman already lost one of her legs; I don’t think she can use her leg again.”
People & Politics gathered that Idemudia was deported from Germany last year August and he was accommodated by his sister who relocated to Edo State after she got married. The sister also accommodated Victory whom everyone referred to as “mum” on the street.

Victory, neighbours said is a prayerful woman and occasionally organised prayer sessions with some of her neighbours and friend.
“The last time they were praying, Idemudia embarrassed them all. He wore just pant and was smoking Indian hemp to deter them from the programme”, a neighbour told People & Politics.
Idemudia has however been detained by Police Officers from New Oko-Oba Police Station.
